Pentacle Pavilion

Last weekend I was dreaming, as I often do, of our future home. There are certain traits that would be wonderful for this place to have, such as a good space for having group meetings and possibly rituals. After contemplating the lovely garden where we celebrated Beltane, my mind wandered until it hit upon this idea. Wouldn't it be fun to have a cob, iron and vine witchy gazebo? It's a round bench made of cob with an opening in the East for people to walk in and out. The floor could have a mosaic pentacle made from broken tiles and whatnot, while the negative space around the pentacle could be solid colors representing the directions made from natural plasters. There would be five points on the outside of the cob structure that could hold planters, from which iron work would extend and reach across to the other planters in the overall shape of a pentacle dome. Then flowering vines could grow up the metal structure and make a living ceiling, walls and windows.

I couldn't figure out how to draw the iron work from above while still showing the bottom, so here is the bird's eye view minus the metal frame:

And here is a model so that you can see how the metal would look. It would be neat if there were wildflowers growing around it in between the planters, and also a labyrinth path leading to the structure. Don't make fun of my labyrinth... I realized after I started putting in the color that this is a not really a labyrinth, but you can get the idea regardless.

Details to include: LED string lights, windchimes, a removable round iron table, weather-proof pillows and, of course, witches.

Now, is the labrynth there to keep me in or out? I just need to get the facts straight before I start boxing up my things for the big move in date.
Your idea is awesome and I will be happy to be of service if you need helping hands to bring your creation to fruition. A cob party! HA!

I cannot wait for this! And of course we'll plant raspberries.
